General

• • The person making the reservation must be over the age of 18, 

  • Everyone who will be entering the shack must sign the waiver before access to the shack will be granted, 

  • Minor (people under 18 years of age) must accompanied by a parent or guardian, 

  • The parent or guardian accompanying a minor must sign the waiver on their behalf.

• Rental Times

  • For day rentals:

    • Check in: 9:00 AM on the rental date, unless other arrangements are agreed upon.

    • Check out: 12 hours after check-in on the rental date

  • For overnight rentals:

    • Check-In: After 9:00 AM on the rental start date, unless other arrangements are agreed upon.

    • Check-Out: Before 8:00 AM on the rental end date, unless other arrangements are agreed upon.

  • Late Check-Out Penalty:

    • In the event of a late check-out, customers will be charged an additional $50 per hour beyond the agreed-upon check-out time.

• Payment and Fees

  • A 50% deposit of the rental fee is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The reservation will not be confirmed until the deposit is paid.

  • The full cost of the rental and a $250 damage deposit is due before access to the shack is granted, 

  • There is a $30 pet cleaning fee if any pets will occupy the shack, 

• Cancellation:

  • A minimum of two weeks' notice is required for cancellations to receive a refund of the deposit.

• Rules of Use:

  • All Customers are responsible for obtaining an active fishing license valid in Saskatchewan or Alberta.

  • Customers are responsible for knowing and adhering to the local laws and regulations for ice fishing and all related activities. 

  • ​No smoking or vaping is permitted in the shack. If there is evidence of smoking or vaping in the shack, such as lingering odors, cigarette butts, or burn marks, your damage deposit is forfeited. 

  • No drug or alcohol use is permitted in the shack.

• Garbage and Waste Disposal

  • Customers are responsible for removing their garbage from the shack at the end of their rental. If garbage is not removed from the shack, a $50 fee will be deducted from the damage deposit. Garbage includes but is not limited to food packaging, other packaging, drink containers and other recyclables for example.

  • Customers are responsible for removing and properly disposing of their excrement from the outhouse using the materials provided (e.g., waste bags with a gelling agent). If additional waste-management materials are required, renters must notify A-Z Excursions immediately by phone to ensure more materials can be supplied. Failure to remove waste from the outhouse at the end of the rental period will result in forfeiture of the entire damage deposit.
